WHAT VITAMIN B3 DOES
Niacin, or nicotinic acid, is used to support a variety of metabolic functions and to treat a
number of conditions but can cause a niacin flush. Niacinamide (nicotinamide) does not
produce the flushing, but can not be used to aid in lowering cholesterol levels. Because
Niacin and Niacinamide can perform differently in the body, they are sometimes used for different conditions, and are not always interchangeable.


WHAT NIACIN IS USED FOR
The coenzymes of niacin help breakdown and utilize proteins, fats and carbohydrates.
Niacin stimulates circulation and reduces cholesterol levels in the blood of some people. Because it stimulates growth hormone, it is especially helpful in anti aging programs.
